As may be expected at an inn that is part of the local 15 Pub Donnington Independent Brewery chain (established in 1865), the cellars hold great delights.
For example 2 traditional Donnington Ales are available (BB & SBA), probably the finest real ales in the County and a refreshing alternative to the offerings of London based breweries.
These traditional beers are still produced by much of the same recipe that has always been in use. The basic requirement of water is drawn from a spring beside the Brewery and locally grown hops from neighbouring Worcestershire.
Alternative libations include Addlestones Cider, Guinness (of course) and a broad but select wine list.
The Plough Inn at Ford is delighted to have been voted North Cotswolds CAMRA - the Campaign for Real Ale - Pub of the Year 2004.
